Background

Jeff Bezos stands all alone with over a Hundred Billion USD. In the Richest Person Today index of Laviasco, the net worth of Jeff Bezos is estimated to be 140 Billion USD. Divorce & Status

The net worth of the Founder, Chairman, CEO and President of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is estimated to be half of what he has today after his divorce. Out of a 140 Billion USD, his net worth is going to be around 70 Billion USD. His position will be shifted right below Warren Buffett on the third position making Bill Gates the richest man once again.

We want to make people aware of more effective development in our lives. As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends.

Jeff and Mackenzie

On top of all of this, his ex-wife Mackenzie Tuttle will stay right behind him on the Laviasco chart. She will become the richest woman ever. According to the laws of Washington D.C., without negotiations, Tuttle will receive properties worth 70 Billion USD.

Dilution of Power in Amazon

Now, talking about the divorce of Jeff Bezos and his status in Amazon, his control inside the company might as well dilute. If Tuttle won’t negotiate, Bezos will have to sell some of his Amazon stocks so as to obey equal property distribution law of D.C.. This might change the company’s long-term figure.

Wedding Ring

Speaking of today, Jeff Bezos is already seen without his wedding ring. According to BBC, some people might not rush to remove the ring, out of a sense of respect. But since Bezos has ditched the wedding ring, it is pretty clear that he is over this relationship.

Future of Bezos and Amazon

Amazon is the fastest growing company today. However, the biggest settlement of a rich family in the history might change the future of Amazon. Bezos is used to investing a part of Amazon’s stocks in creating new start-up every year. The equal property distribution law will reduce Jeff’s stocks of Amazon by a half.

On top of all of this, his ex-wife Tuttle will receive half of the Amazon stocks owned by Bezos. Tuttle will be able to ask for the position of a board member due to her bigger ownership. Bezos will lose his CEO position as his ownership will reduce by a half.

Amazon can face the public distrust. The future of Amazon can be a big question mark. The emotional state of Jeff can affect the performance of the company. We can look at what happened to the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, after his divorce.

Should the Investors Worry?

Even though Bezos will lose a half of his Amazon stocks, Tuttle is very unlikely to sell those stocks. Amazon is a company growing really big really fast. Amazon’s stocks won’t probably just float. Someone will purchase the stocks even if Tuttle decides to sell them.

However, on the other hand, investors should probably worry as well. The company’s stake should be handled properly at this particular time period. Otherwise, the company will come down exponentially.
