HAHA Lyrics Meaning Lil Darkie

Let’s dissect the meaning behind the lyrics of the song “HAHA” by Lil Darkie section-wise to see how the song has caught up with racist remarks.

[Verse: Lil Darkie]

Since there is a single verse in the song “HAHA” by Lil Darkie, let’s discuss the lyrics in parts:

Part I

The song “HAHA” begins with Lil Darkie being questioned by his friend to know why is he sad. That moment inspires him to take a walk and jot down the lyrics for a song. It is well-known that the art stems up from the place of sadness and darkness. So, he wanted to let out his emotions on a piece of paper to make himself presentable. However, his friend laughs at his situation and abruptly throws out his opinion saying the artist should be grateful for what he has.

During this conversation, his friend supports him by telling him to continue making more hits. Then, his friend leaves and he simply doesn’t feel right. He is struggling with his mental health. The artist gets a sudden anxious rush in his body when the judgemental society is telling him what’s normal and what is not. He feels as though everyone around him wants him to be silent. However, he is not ready to give in.

Part II

Since everyone wants to stop him speaking his mind, he is willing to put on a fake face that no one recognizes. There is always someone around Lil Darkie trying to laugh at him with “HAHA” to make him feel bad for having a voice. He feels as though there is nothing wrong with having an opinion on something. Further, in the lyrics, the artist expresses a heartfelt message that people act fine in front of him only to backbite later.

So, in the major TikTok sensation part of “HAHA”, Lil Darkie confesses to having put on a face of something that he is not. He is doing so to protect himself from unwanted judgments while being able to do whatever he wants to do. This is where people are calling him out for being racist. However, as you understand the vibe of the song, it really isn’t as problematic as Twitter made it seem to be.

Part III

As the lyrics for the song “HAHA” implies, Lil Darkie is portraying the character of a clown. People usually mock the clowns for looking and acting differently than normal working-class people. But what they don’t understand is this is his life. He chose to live this way. Therefore, he shouldn’t be judged for living his life the way he wants to. All he wants to do is dance and make people smile.

Towards the end of “HAHA”, Lil Darkie asserts that the “brightest people”, for instance, the classroom clown or the truly enjoyable people have the “darkest feelings”. This means, even the individual who you look at or their personality projects in an optimistic manner is joyous, knows what he is doing, and treats everyone fairly might be going through struggles internally. It’s easy to appreciate the outward appearance of people but it’s hard to contemplate their lives.

Conclusion: HAHA Meaning Lil Darkie

The song could easily be talking about the people who are bullied or laughed at in real life by being called a clown. This is a direct reference to the cultural aspect of people not treating everyone equally. People should be able to do whatever they want to do without having to feel ashamed of what they are doing. People are canceling Lil Darkie and “HAHA” over his taste in music and character which is based on an Indian goddess, and his music is literally meant for shock value. They need to do their research on the man before they try to ruin his career, snowflakes. I don’t understand people.

People are offended by the type of music Lil Darkie makes and the shade behind the lyrics for “HAHA”. But I don’t think it is problematic. However, if someone feels differently, I’m no one to be the judge of that.

Lil darkie is laughing with “HAHA” when people are getting offended by his music. It doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t deserve the hate he’s been receiving. This artist literally expresses himself in the form of art and if you don’t like “HAHA” or any songs by Lil Darkie, you aren’t appreciating art enough.

Yes, what people forget is, “HAHA” or any other songs by Lil Darkie is based on the expression of art. However, people seem to get offended by everything these days. So, it doesn’t really make much sense to justify the hate he’s been getting lately.

it was only a matter of time before the internet and tiktok crusaders began trying to cancel Lil Darkie for “HAHA” and the meaning behind its lyrics.

‘genocide’ (his most famous song) not only has his “problematic” character in the COVER ART, but the first part of that song even predicted this would happen.

It is really not a good look when people try to cancel artists for expressing their art. I don’t really see a problem with Lil Darkie expressing himself as a clown in the lyrics for “HAHA” but people take everything in a different way.
