Cole is pressed about the criticisms thrown at his silence. There are activists who have disappeared. Instead of using the bigger platform for the change, she feels odd that J. Then, one of them responds to her by writing a song about her when there are people fighting for their lives and basic human rights.
In the third verse of the track, the rapper raises a fair question of what J. Cole could have offered. There are people fighting for basic human rights and proper treatment of people. While instead of focusing on the major social issues, J. Cole jotted down a song about her.
